Upon completing a purchase contract, buyers are given the option of advertising their chalets to rental customers by filling out a supplementary rental pool contract. Furthermore property owners who join the rental pool will be exempt from paying Canada's 13% HST (harmonized sales tax) that is charged on property's purchased for personal use.

The Deer Lake/ Humber Valley area is a popular spot for tourists during all four seasons. During the summer months (July and August) the occupancy levels in the Deer Lake area are more than 70% while June and September have occupancy levels around 40%.
